We turned 20 years old on July 13, 2012 and this coming Sunday, September 23, 2012 we’re having a celebration and fundraiser. If you’re in the Kansas City area, please join us Sunday from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Nicklaus Golf Club in Overland Park. 

Our event celebrates the children of the world and our guest of honor, Lili Hickman Waldon of Austin, Texas, created a commemorative piece of art for the occasion. We are raising funds for 4 charities that benefit children:

• AmericaShare, helping children in East Africa
• Half the Sky, benefiting orphans in China
• Newhouse Shelter, helping women and children in Kansas City
• Water.org, helping provide sanitary conditions and clean drinking water around the world

We are auctioning off incredible vacations, artwork, jewelry and more. We have an online auction catalog and everyone can pre-bid on any or all of our 47 items. For vacation afficianados (which I hope is everyone reading this post!), we have stays in Paris, San Francisco, Bora Bora, Maui, Kauai, Oahu, Beijing, Shanghai, Sorrento, Ravello, Belize, LA, Tucson and the Bahamas.
