Lawmakers to investigate CIA hit teams
The House Intelligence Committee will investigate whether the CIA broke the law by not telling Congress earlier about a secret program to deploy hit teams to kill al-Qaida leaders.

Just when I was having so much fun blogging on First of all, I hate always and never. It brings out the teenager in me who says, "Oh yeah??? Just watch me!" Next thought, "Okay, the guy has a point." I would benefit by treating a business-type blog like the TV show Dragnet–"Just the facts, ma’am, just the facts!" However, that seems so, oh how do I say it???? BORING! What is a person like me who loves life, is passionate about travel, and occasionally digresses supposed to do? The solution: I will continue to blog here as I have been—focusing on unique vacations, exceptional values, great getaways (Oh! That’s us www.greatgetaways.travel ) AND I will occasionally digress into political, social, and family posts. I will also create new blogs that stick to the facts, just the facts, ma’am. So, fair warning: if you want to read a blog that’s sole purpose is to get you to invest in our services or convince you we are the BEST widget producer in the universe, stop reading this blog! Cease and desist at once! Okay, forget the “desist” part! I won’t press legal action because you like working with a person (and company) that treats our clients like friends and that wants only the very best experience for you that we can create! Heck, to deprive you of the best service and wonderful values we offer, well, that would be criminal!

You may have noticed that I’ve been much more regular about blogging and I just know you’re wondering why. Okay, you in the back, guess again!!! I still have my full-time career and am as passionate about traveling the world as ever. How about you, there, in the middle, with the plaid dress with the stain on it? No, it’s not just a burst of creativity—although that certainly helps. Okay, enough guesses—I’ll share my secret….drum roll, please….IT”S POSTEROUS.COM!
Posterous is perhaps the best thing that has ever happened to blogging! It’s amazingly easy AND has great support. If you can send an email, you can start a posterous blog! Go to www.posterous.com or send an email to post@posterous.com and they’ll reply with a link to sign up! Yes, it really is that simple!
And back to Autoattendant Hell. Exactly how does this relate to Posterous??? Last week I had made some errors in an email-to-blog post I created. I couldn’t seem to fix it on my Posterous blog. Nothing I tried seemed to work. I gritted my teeth and took the plunge into Autoattendant/Info@… Hell. I emailed my problem to Posterous.com while telling myself, “This is silly! Remember, how many days it took you to reach someone at Facebook a few months ago—like 10 days (but who’s counting) of multiple resends, forwards, and getting stuck in FAQ???”
To my surprise and glee, I got a reply with an hour—yes, you heard me correctly…one hour—60 minutes! OMG! Posterous.com is not just some black hole of techno-speak nor an FAQ labyrinth! It has real people who actually care about the end user’s experience. To meet my current hero, go to http://posterous.com/people/edkwW to meet Garry, one of the cofounders of Posterous.
Then jump over to www.greatgetaways.travel and peruse some of our unique journeys. I guarantee you will receive exemplary, personalized service without autoattendant/info@ Hell! Can some nameless online types match that? I think not!
Ciao!
